As a Database Specialist (m/f), you will be responsible for the architecture and modeling of our databases. You will use your very good SQL skills to optimize our databases.
Your Job:
- Creation and maintenance of existing and new database architectures
- Design and development to optimize performance and scalability
- Server monitoring
- Development of replications and backup concepts
- Preparation of technical and business concepts
- Modeling and maintenance of Business Warehouses
Your Profile:
- Knowledge of databases (MySQL)
- Sound knowledge of Linux systems
- Solution-oriented way of working
- Experience in the development and operation of relational DBMS
- Experience in handling large volumes of data in high-load scenarios with distributed/shared databases
- Knowledge of NoSQL desirable
- Solid sense of responsibility and an independent way of working
- A very good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
- A valid work and residence permit is required prior to commencement of employment
