During your practical training in Game Design, you will learn to deal with the research, design and logical development of new features for our online games. A mentor will always be at your side to provide help and guidance. Ideally, you could use this practical training to start your career with us and – with a good performance – go on to become a trainee.
Tasks:
- Supporting the further development of an existing multiplayer online game
- Design of features and mechanics to optimize the relevant KPIs
- Preparation of detailed game design documents
- Creation of initial mockups and scribbles for the graphics department
- Communication of the game idea to the entire team
- Competition analyses and presentation of feature proposals
- Close cooperation with the Analysis and Balancing departments
Requirements:
- Very good theoretical and some practical knowledge of the design of online games (browser or social)
- Basic knowledge about Usability (KISS)
- A good technical understanding
- A feeling for the monetization of free-to-play games
- Strong mathematical, analytical and logical skills
- Willingness to work self-reliantly and intensively in a team
- Targeted creativity and thought processes – and a high level of quality awareness
- Very good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
