As our Pricing Manager Virtual Goods (m/f), you will act as an interface between Product Management/Product Monetization and Business Intelligence — and be responsible for the further development of our games’ economic success. You will conceive long-term and medium-term sales strategies for virtual goods, develop a KPI-based reporting system and establish continuous success monitoring.

Your Job:

• Design, implementation and evaluation of sales strategies for our virtual goods
• Further development of sales and revenue volumes based on quantitative and qualitative analyses
• Optimization of the applied methods
• Setup of a KPI-based reporting system and a continuous performance review
• Country-specific benchmark for in-game events, special offers and other sales promotions
• Leveling and continuous optimization of our virtual goods’ price structures
• Participation in the pricing of new products
• Trend spotting and monitoring of pricing in Free2Play
• Know-how transfer between product managers and business intelligence

Your Profile:

• A degree in economics, majoring in marketing, sales, media science, computer science, or a similar further education
• Initial work experience in comparable sectors with adequate focus, ideally on the Games industry, E-commerce and sales
• Good knowledge of sales psychology, sales techniques, perception and motivators
• Confident handling of break-even, program structure and ROI analyses
• Proficient in the use of reporting and analysis/tracking tools and web analytics programs
• The ability to carry out targeted customer segmentation and to stimulate the needs and emotions of the target group
• Affinity with games
• Excellent communication skills, a convincing and engaging charisma
• Very good analytical and conceptual skills
• High degree of self-responsibility, coupled with strongly pronounced sales and results orientation and self-motivation
• A good knowledge of German and English, both spoken and written
• A valid work and residence permit is required prior to commencement of employment
