As Game Balancing Trainee, you will deal with the mathematical side of game design. You will be responsible for the correct balance in our online games, enabling lasting gaming enjoyment by means of calculations. This trainee position is ideal for a career start after graduation or for career changers.
Tasks:
- Joint conception of online games in terms of balancing aspects
- Assistance in the formulation and continuous improvement of the flow of a game
- Preparation of detailed and concise Excel documents
- Optimization of existing features in terms of user retention and monetization
- Competition analyses and presentation of feature proposals
Requirements:
- Initial experience in the game development process, e.g. through practical training
- Very good mathematical and – in particular – analytical skills
- Very good knowledge of MS Excel, Visual Basic knowledge would be a plus
- Basic knowledge of relevant game mechanics
- A strong Internet affinity and enthusiasm for online games
- Willingness to work self-reliantly AND intensively in a team
- Targeted creativity and thought processes – and a high level of quality awareness
- Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written
