Although the start-up scene is busy in Berlin, Hamburg is becoming more and more attractive. Renowned German newspaper “Die Welt” reports on American enterprises such as Google, Facebook and Airbnb choosing the location at the Elbe River for their German headquarters. In the game development industry Goodgame Studios is one of the most important companies in the city.
“The online games industry, too, has a good standing in Hamburg: With more than 150 companies and 2,000 employees the Hanseatic city is one of the leading locations for the games sector. Bigpoint, Goodgame Studios are situated in the Hanseatic city and are looking for several hundred new employees ‘who are in Hamburg and hard to find in Germany,’ says Uwe Jens Neumann of Hamburg@work.”
