A summer night’s dream: Goodgamers in the mood to party

Parties bring us together, and since we Goodgamers place a high value on working in a friendly atmosphere, we have already established a solid party tradition despite our young age. At this year’s summer party, teamwork also played a key role. First we all had to work in teams to master tricky challenges on a scavenger hunt through Hamburg, and then we relaxed and came together for an evening packed full of food, music, and dancing. Queerness welcome

This year’s Hamburg Pride Week is in full swing and yet before the final three-day-long showdown takes place at the Binnenalster lake, Goodgame Studios has entered the gig. Together with gamecity:Hamburg and a few other gaming companies, we discussed the topic of LGBT in the gaming industry. The event was organized as a pub crawl along Hamburg’s hip LGBT hotspot Lange Reihe.

Agile Unlimited visits Goodgame Studios

At the start of the year, Goodgame Studios put a new studio structure in place that lets us produce great games for our fans even faster and more efficiently. To ensure that we deliver high quality results and that production runs as efficiently as possible, we have looked to agile methodology. Agile is a modern approach and mindset for implementing projects, and it’s especially well-suited to our needs as a fast-growing company in a dynamic industry. An expert who could show us the ropes when it comes to agile methods is Nadine Haertel. We’re very pleased that we were able to welcome her to our café at West End Village. More than 70 participants attended her enlightening presentation and subsequent workshop, which participants could sign up for in advance via XING. Read more
